Minutes of the meeting of Walesby Parish Council held on Tuesday 7 March 2023 at 7.30pm in Walesby Village Hall.

16/2023 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE.
Apologies were received from Cllr Stephen Wilson, Cllr Mandy Ashley, Cllr S Bunney
17/2023 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST UNDER THE LOCALISM ACT.
None were given.
18/2023 TO APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD 9.1.23
Proposed Cllr Thurman, seconded Cllr Sweny and unanimously agreed to approve the minutes of 9. 1.23. Cllr Thurman signed the minutes.
19/2023 PUBLIC FORUM.
Proposed Cllr Thurman seconded Cllr Milles to suspend the meeting for a public forum.
There were no items raised.
Cllr Thurman proposed Cllr Braithwaite seconded to close the public forum
20/2023 PROPER OFFICERS REPORT
A request had been received for a grant of £100 towards coronation celebrations. Cllrs resolved that there was no funding available. The clerk was requested to ask for more information as to the details of the celebrations and would request a breakdown of costings. Two other requests for grant funding were withdrawn.
The Broadband project is virtually completed.
Voter ID would be required for the Parish and District Elections.
21/2023 ELECTION PROCESS
Cllr Thurman would collect the nomination papers and take the councillor forms into West Lindsey District Council.
22/2023 FINANCE
Proposed Cllr Thurman seconded Cllr Milles to approve the cheques for payment. Cllr Thurman had verified the bank reconciliation. Cllrs decided not to pay for the LALC training scheme. Cllrs noted that the defibrillator training had taken place.

Cllr Thurman highlighted that there are only 3 signatories on the bank account and proposed that Cllr Norgrove be a signatory on the bank account. Proposed Cllr Thurman, seconded Cllr Braithwaite.
23/2023 Highways Update
Cllrs noted the highways report from Cllr Norgrove and thanked her.
24/2023. PLANNING APPLICATIONS. TO CONSIDER ANY PLANNING APPLICATIONS AND TO NOTE ANY APPROVED SINCE LAST MEETING.
APPLICATION REFERENCE NO: 146233. Planning application to erect 1no. dwelling with garage, summer house and new access. Land to r/o Graycroft Rasen Road Walesby Market Rasen LN8 3UW.
Cllrs considered the application. The Parish Council had no comment to make.
25/2023 DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next meeting would take place on Tuesday 16 May 2023. - 7.30 pm.
